Overview

Properly closing a job on the Raven Viper 4+ is critical for ensuring that all applied data, coverage maps, and field records are compiled into a final report and saved to the internal database. This process prevents data loss and prepares the system for either a shutdown or the start of a new field operation.

What You'll Need

  • Raven Viper 4 or Viper 4+ Display
  • An active job currently in progress
  • Active Slingshot Field Hub for optional wireless transfer

Step-by-Step

01

Access the Home Interface

From the active guidance run screen, touch the Home button located in the lower-right corner. This will initiate the closing sequence and bring up the Application Report interface.

02

Review Application Report

The Application Report tab will display. Review the summary data and touch any information fields to enter additional job notes or specific details regarding the field operation.

03

Include Weather Data

Touch the Weather Report tab. Select the Include Weather Report option to include atmospheric conditions. You can manually enter details or, if a weather station is connected, record a snapshot of current conditions.

04

Manage Slingshot Wireless Transfer

If your vehicle is equipped with a Slingshot Field Hub, select the Send to Slingshot option. This will queue the completed job for wireless transfer to the Slingshot web portal as soon as the job is finalized.

05

Finalize and Stop Job

Touch the Stop button in the lower-right corner of the prompt. The monitor will process the final coverage data, save the report, and return you to the main home panel display.

Tips & Tricks

💡

Always close the job before turning off the machine ignition to prevent file corruption or loss of the latest coverage maps.

💡

Use the job summary screen to verify total area applied against your product totals for billing accuracy.

💡

If you intend to return to the same field later, you can resume the job from the Job Profile panel instead of starting a new one.

💡

Performing a manual USB export via the File Manager after closing a job is recommended if wireless connectivity is unavailable.
